Proposals your clients sign on their phone — and pay the deposit right after.
BuildFlow Lite turns your estimate into a clean, itemized proposal with your business name, terms and deposit amount. Text or email the link, the client signs online, and the deposit is paid through Stripe straight to your account.
How it works
- Start from an AI estimate or your own line items, then set your markup.
- Add your terms and a deposit percentage (up to 50%).
- Share a private link by text or email. No app or account needed for your client.
- Your client signs with their typed name and consent; the time and IP address are recorded.
- They pay the deposit through Stripe Checkout, and the proposal is marked Deposit Paid only after Stripe confirms the payment.
Why contractors use it
Getting a signature and a deposit before you leave the driveway beats chasing paperwork for a week. Once a proposal is shared, its prices and terms are locked, so everyone is looking at the same agreed version.
Change orders and invoices use the same sign-and-pay link, so extra work gets approved in writing before it's done.
What it costs
Free plan: unlimited projects, 3 proposals a month and 10 AI queries, no card required. Premium: $24.99/month or $149/year with a 14-day trial.
Deposits use your own connected Stripe account. Standard card processing fees apply, plus a 1% BuildFlow fee on payments collected through the app.
Questions
Does my client need an account to sign?
No. They open the private link on any phone or computer, review the proposal, sign and pay the deposit.
Where does the deposit money go?
To the Stripe account you connect in Settings; Stripe pays it out to your bank on your payout schedule.
Can I edit a proposal after I send it?
Shared proposals are locked so the signed version can't change. Create a new draft to revise it.
Is an online signature legally binding?
Electronic signatures are widely recognized in the US. BuildFlow records the signer's name, consent, time and IP address. Check your state's rules for your trade and contract type.
